Loop Tempo Detection

LUNA now detects the tempo of any loop-length file imported to the timeline, adding new layers on-beat as you build up your track.

To start using tempo detection for loops:

  1. Ensure CLIPS FOLLOW SESSION TEMPO is enabled on the create page when you create a new session.
  2. Import a loop-length file to the timeline.
  3. LUNA will automatically detect the tempo of the file and offer to keep the current session tempo or match to the file's tempo.
  4. Additional files imported to the timeline automatically follow the session tempo.

  1. Set up one or more tracks for recording and ensure they are audible through your headphones or speakers.
  2. Click BPM in the session toolbar directly above the current tempo display.
  3. Click LISTEN under DETECT TEMPO on the BPM popover.
  4. LUNA listens to your playing and sets the metronome to your rhythm.
  5. Click APPLY when you're satisfied with the BPM.
